Finding that special wedding DJ may not be quite as fulfilling as finding that special someone, but the memories could last just as long. We at the Canvas Mobile DJs realize that, and as a DJ company who specializes in wedding receptions, we are committed to making your special day end with class and fun and a host of great memories. We pride ourselves on making every reception one that will be remembered, appreciated, and easy for you and your guests to have a fantastic time.

Our Wedding Package includes:

• Personalized Service: Although brides and grooms regularly say they’ve loved what we’ve done at their receptions, we know that every couple’s tastes and reception concepts are different. Whatever your style of reception you have in mind, we will match the music and our personality to enhance the atmosphere to reflect what you want. How do we know what you have in mind? We’ll sit down with you face to face and ask. We offer suggestions and then listen to your tastes. We’ll stay in contact with you as your special day approaches and plan and tweak till we have it as you want it. We’ll talk to you several days before your wedding day to confirm all the plans are in place and go over any last minute details. In short, if you don’t leave your reception totally thrilled you hired us, we’re bummed. It’s our personal commitment to you for excellence, and we can only do that by knowing what you want and planning the evening together with you.

• Our Original Wedding Reception Planner Booklet: A detailed guide we’ve designed to walk you through not only the styles and songs you’d like (and wouldn’t like), but the order of how you’d like the reception to take place, and what moments you want to include and exclude. Weather you have the whole evening planned out, or haven’t a clue, this will get both you and your DJ on the same page. We’ve had many a “thank you so much” from brides for this booklet alone.

• A fun, classy DJ: In addition to MCing the evening, Zek has the reputation for creating moments (some romantic and some fun) throughout the evening that involves your guests and even you two! Never corny or cheesy, many of our “thanks, that was fun” come from memories of those times.

• Our large light package: From floating bubbles (where allowed) and romantic lighting during your first dance, to our fun DJ lights (with microphones inside them that actually move to the beat of the music), we bring it all. We’ve noticed that a great light show really helps the ambience for both the soft and upbeat times, so we’ve included it in every wedding package!

• Music Variety: We have one of the largest music libraries in Middle Tennessee that range from tunes that just hit the radio this month to all the classics of yesteryear. Everything we have is edited, so you won’t have to worry about Grandma getting offended ?. With our experience of knowing what songs people love to dance to, combined with what you’ve requested in your wedding reception planner, the night will never have to get dull or boring.

• State of the Art Sound System: We start the music using our computer based PCDJ music software, and include everything down to a wireless microphone for toasts etc. We have one of the most complete, and best quality sound systems of all DJs in Middle Tennessee, and if you’d like more information, give us a ring – we’d love to talk “tech” with you. Of course we bring backup equipment for most everything we use (including the computer!). We do have more equipment than most DJs so please allow 2 hours for us to set up and 1½ hours to tear down.

• Image: Your DJ will look great (in what ever outfit you choose for him in the wedding reception planner), and even though we bring more equipment and lights than most other DJ’s, we take great care that our DJ table and sound system looks sharp and classy when you and your guests arrive.

• “Works well with others”: We are always happy work with the other professionals that you’ve hired for your special day, and strive hard to dispel the reputation that DJ’s are difficult to work with.

• Four hours of music: Four hours of non-stop music are included in our wedding package. Additional time is $90/ hour after that. Travel, set-up, and tear-down time is free inside Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties. Small mileage fees apply outside those counties.

• “Memories Made” Photo Montage:
Gone are the days when parents just cluttered a table with pictures of the bride and groom growing up and dating. Many receptions now present a computerized slide show (e.g. Power Point/DVD) to project the pictures on a screen, and even sync up a song to play during the viewing of the pictures during the reception. Now you can too. This includes:

1) A projector, large screen, projector stand, extra computer to play the DVD/Power Point disc, all the necessary cabling including audio cables to tie into our mixer.

2) Set up and tear down of all equipment, including making sure that the projector/DVD combo is working and in proper focus before your guests arrive.

3) Timing coordination with the rest we have planned that evening

You (or your family) providing the Power Point/DVD: $75
The Canvas Mobile DJs creating the slide show (including syncing up to a song of your choice), using your digital pictures: $175

• Your words overdubbed in a song and played during a special dance:
The bride and/ or groom will come into our recording studio with a pre-scripted handful of short heartfelt sentences. After recording them, we will intersperse them in the studio during the vocal breaks throughout the song you choose. Everyone will now hear not only the song, but your voice through the speakers as you dance with that special someone. Usually used for the Bride/Father and Groom/Mother dances, this can be a powerful time to say thanks for everything while you dance with your mother for father.

Your voice over a song: $75 per song

• Karaoke:
Though we typically don’t recommend karaoke for a wedding reception, some couples have requested it, and it can be fun. As with all our equipment, our karaoke system is top notch and run from our computers. Since we will have all the dance music already, you can choose to have a rotation with the karaoke, or even a set time frame for just karaoke.

Karaoke: $100

• Second Sound System for Outside Ceremonies:
For couples needing a sound system for the ceremony portion of their wedding day, we offer a complete system with an additional engineer to help your DJ with the extra equipment and responsibilities. This system will include a wireless Lavaliere (clip on) mic for your minister, music for pre and post ceremony (your choice of course!), the engineer to run sound during your ceremony, and any other microphones and audio equipment you might require.

Complete second system: $150

As you can see by actual quotes we have posted, brides and grooms, family, and guests have all expressed appreciation in what we have done. To be honest, that makes us proud. We work hard to make you and your guests dance, laugh, and maybe even shed some tears of joy (at least that’s what we think they are). As one bride’s maid told Zek, “a DJ can really make or break a wedding reception”. We think so too, and we’d like to help make yours a wonderful night to remember for the rest of your lives.

OVERTIME: $25.00 for each 1/2 hour after the Base Dance Package (10 minute grace period)

MILEAGE: $0.35 a mile, outside the Middle Tennessee area.

MAJOR HOLIDAYS: Because our DJ would rather spend New Years Eve with friends and family, and enjoys holidays off too, booking on these days will be charged a premium rate of $600 for a typical 5 hour event.
